It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. All LITELOK CORE PLUS bike locks are supplied with a set of easy to use frame mounts. Adjustable hook and loop straps ensure it will fit most frame shapes and sizes, whilst the rubberised strap prevents damage to your much loved bike. The simple click and hold design makes mounting and un-mounting super easy, secure and hassle free.

Is the LITELOK X3 angle grinder resistant?
Yes. The LITELOK X3 is armoured with patented Barronium®, a composite material designed to significantly resist angle-grinder attacks by turning the grinder’s energy back against itself.
While no lock is completely unbreakable, independent and in‑house testing has shown that the X3 offers at least 20× more resistance to angle-grinder attacks than current leading D‑locks. This greatly increases the time, effort, and noise required to steal a bike, acting as a powerful deterrent in higher‑risk environments.
What is the advantage of using the CORE Plus 75 with the X3?
The X3 and CORE Plus 75 are designed to work together to provide layered, adaptable e‑bike security.
Use the X3 as your primary lock to secure the frame to fixed objects where maximum protection is needed. The CORE Plus 75 adds flexible, wearable secondary security for wheels, accessories, or additional locking points — especially useful in tight or awkward parking situations.
Used together, they allow you to double-lock your e-bike and adapt to a wide range of real‑world scenarios.

Both the LITELOK X3 and CORE Plus 75 are Sold Secure Bicycle Diamond certified, making them suitable for meeting the requirements of many insurers. Always check your insurer’s policy wording to confirm coverage.
Can I wear the CORE Plus while riding?
Yes. The LITELOK CORE Plus 75 is designed to be worn around the waist while riding, giving you a secure and comfortable way to carry your lock without adding weight to your bike or bag.
The CORE Plus 75 fits waist sizes 28" (70 cm) to 41" (106 cm).
How do I carry the LITELOK X3?
The LITELOK X1 can be mounted to your bike frame using the X3 Tactical Mount (sold separately), or carried in a bag when not in use. Many riders use the Tactical Mount for everyday commuting and switch to bag carry for longer rides or travel.
Who invented Barronium®?
Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
Are the locks in this bundle keyed alike?
No. This bundle is not keyed alike.
Each lock comes with its own set of matching keys, meaning the X3 and CORE Plus use different keys. This allows you to manage or replace each lock independently.
What is the warranty?
Warranty is applied per individual lock in the bundle:
- LITELOK X3: 7‑year warranty
- LITELOK CORE Plus 75: 1‑year warranty
Both warranties cover mechanical or operational faults arising from normal use. Cosmetic wear and tear is not covered. We recommend registering your locks and keys so replacements can be ordered if required.
