Bought the tactical mount for my Litelok X3 when it went on sale ($14.99 USD + $9.99 USD shipping). Shipping was extremely quick (two days to get to the U.S.). Setup is a bit tricky (takes 2 people to secure the mount properly) but have had no issues. Happy to no longer have to carry the X3 in my backpack!

This mount is incredibly easy to install but the shape of my bike frame gave my issue. Nothing to do with the mount itself. After some brainstorming I found my position and here it is. You can’t go wrong with this mount. It’s been joy not riding with X3 in my backpack. Do yourself a favor and get the mount. You won’t regret it.

First I tried to instal it the way it's shown on the horizontal tube, but because of bottle mounting screws I couldn't, so I installed it on the seat tube, and it's perfect for me !

4 stars because mount is big, bulky and stiff when attaching and detaching lock. That said, it’s probably the only way to mount this lock. For daughter’s college, it is perfect because relatively easy to use, bot fast and, once on, very stable. For my road bike, when running errands I actually take apart lock, put base in saddle bag and strap the horseshoe around rear tire. Takes more time, but saves space in frame and lets me distribute weight of lock.

I’ve currently attached this mount to my adventure motorcycle crash bars (Tiger800XRX). The adjustable mounting system allows for a low and forward mounting point optimising weight distribution forward and low. Easy access ensures it will be used whenever the motorcycle is unattended at home or on a ride. I can also quickly mount it on my mountain bike if bike packing and need the ultimate security for pedal power.
