It's a big thing. It is quite pleasant to the touch. I easily fixed it to my frame (more rectangular than round). It holds the lock well and also holds well on the frame. As I wrote in the review of the X3, at first there were some problems with inserting the lock into the mounting hole, but later everything rubbed together and holds perfectly. The only thing that confused me at the beginning and still confuses me now is the plastic clamps, which are probably not simple plastic (because they feel different), but they are not metal. I wish they would hold and serve for a long time. Otherwise, everything is fine

I think the litelok x3 is an impressive lock! I really like the rubber outer casing that prevents the lock from scratching the wheel of frame. I also like the rubber key protector, preventing water getting into the barrel!
I just feel the D shape part of the lock needs to be a little wider, to allow the lock to fit over the tyre and wheel on the rear.
The tactical mount is a must!!!! Works perfectly and saves carrying the lock!
Overall I was impressed.
I also like the fact that it was manufactured in the UK!!!!

I really like the Litelok X3 and the Tactical mount.
Quite pricy stuff, and when you get tax and transportation costs on top it is a way too expensive. But if you want what many of us belive is the best lock, and are not willing to accept any improvised solutions to mount it, then the Tactical Mount is what to get. The X3 lock itself is so heavy that my improvised solutions wore out quickly and snapped so I dropped the lock in a good pace. No more, with the Tactical mount it stays securely mounted to my bike frame.

An ingenious and easy to use design. Only problem, and hence only 4*, is that it will not fit bikes with frames that have smaller internal dimensions, such as my Scott Spark MTB.

Only thing is that my key doesn't turn smoothly or fully when inserted from a certain side.

A lock for this price and quality should come with a mount holder as standard. It does the job but nothing special in all honesty.

Hanging like it does, the heavy X3 too easily swings left or right, but in fairness is very solidly built.
I wish someone would make a triple-screw “gravity” clip that mounted on the downtube, similar to one 3D printed on Etsy.
