Barronium® ist eine verschmolzene Verbundpanzerung, die ohne zusätzliches Gewicht eine beispiellose Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Winkelschleifer bietet. Es ist ein superhartes keramisches Verbundmaterial, das Angriffe von Winkelschleifern abwehrt und die Energie und Kraft des Schleifers in sich selbst umwandelt. Kontinuierliches Schneiden verschleißt die Schleifscheiben, Batterien und letztendlich den Schleifmotor selbst.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

After my honda was stolen and luckily recovered! I had to upgrade my security. My friend informed me about LITELOK.
He has the x1 but I wanted something abit more robust so I purchased the x3. Best choice I've made in a long time and also a massive selling point is that it's made in the UK unlike another decent know brand that has the locks made abroad where I would assume the reason for this is to maximise profits where as LITELOK only has the end user in mind and for me that's what matters. The Moto X3 is tiny enough to actually store under my bike seat, which means I take it everywhere. It feels incredibly solid for its size and gives me confidence when I’m leaving the bike parked. Fingers crossed I never have to test how good it really is, but knowing it’s there makes a huge difference. Highly recommend.

The Litelok X3 Moto is an outstanding security lock that really lives up to its reputation. The build quality is excellent, and it feels incredibly solid and well made. The fit is very good too—it sits perfectly on my bike and is easy to use without being awkward. It gives real peace of mind knowing my motorcycle is protected by such a high-quality product. This is a solid lock however there’s just a couple of grumbles. Firstly once unlocked with the key it’s tricky to pull it apart from the U-housing. Secondly, I would have liked it to have fit around the front wheel and tyre but it’s not wide enough. I don’t think I have a particularly wide front wheel. This leaves my only option to put it around the spoke of the wheel or use a chain but I already had 2 chains with locks so the spoke option is what’s left and I guess it would easily be removed by some oik grinding through the spike very easily.

Very tough and heavy visible lock. For the new 2026 Triumph Bobber it doesn’t fit round tyres or through brake disks. There is one very very snug position through rear wheel and frame by the calliper. It’s very snug but would make any grinder attempt very tricky !

Had an attempted motorcycle theft on 7/7/26. This lock destroyed their angle grinder forcing the thieves to leave and return with another angle grinder. I never go anywhere without this.
