Barronium® ist eine verschmolzene Verbundpanzerung, die ohne zusätzliches Gewicht eine beispiellose Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Winkelschleifer bietet. Es ist ein superhartes keramisches Verbundmaterial, das Angriffe von Winkelschleifern abwehrt und die Energie und Kraft des Schleifers in sich selbst umwandelt. Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

This is a really sold lock that fits my BMW R1250 RS well going through both the wheel and the brake discs. It is heavy but that is the price you pay for solid engineering. I now take the X3 everywhere with me and use it when the bike is in the garage or locked up in a public place, fingers crossed that the bike is now safe.

I’m more confident with this new D-lock, I prefer to expend
a little more in a good security device, because this help to leave the motorcycle in some point that sometime is no secure.

I have researched several bike locks and the X3 Moto gets my vote. I feel relaxed about leaving my bike when I am out now as I never did before. The lock sounds expensive but a small price to pay compared the thousands of pounds worth of bike. Its of a very high quality and also nice to buy from a UK company. I highly recommend this lock to anyone who wants total piece of mind when leaving your bike and worth every penny.

The development of angle grinder resistant locks is a game changer, and, temporarily at least, gives motorbike owners a bit more confidence their bike will still be where they left it on their return!
I bought the LiteLok X3 moto just ahead of a trip through nine European countries, with an end point of Herculaneum, Pompeii & the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. I was going to have to leave the bike unattended at various daytime locations and sometimes overnight too, so I needed a deterrent that was both effective and substantial. The LiteLok X3 fits well through the disc & wheel of my KTM Duke 690, and was in place at every stop whether brief or long. I thankfully had no problems and, having it on my wheel at every stop gave me peace of mind and a degree of confidence that I'd done what I could to deter thieves.

Bought the X3 after seeing so much bike theft happening and wanting to get a decent u-lock to hopefully deter these little rats.
After seeing many YouTube videos and reviews I settled on the X3.
It's a very well built lock and quite substantial so hopefully will keep the rats away.

Lock feels really well built and comes with a high quality padded pouch to transport it with you. The lock fits perfectly through the spokes of my H2 SX. The only issue I have, unlocking is stiff, I'm sure this will loosen the more I use it.

I use this on the rear wheel, with a Core Moto on the front wheel.
The X3 Moto is easy to use, it is relatively light and easy to store in the panniers or top box.
I added an orange spiral cable to remind me it is fitted.
